What Does a Support Coordinator Do?

As a support coordinator, you will be the point of contact for our clients to coordinate support requests. A support coordinator enters the support request information into our ticketing system, determines severity, and schedules the appropriate technician to handle the request. A support coordinator verifies that proper notes are entered into the ticket and time is correctly documented.

A support coordinator will also be assigned other tasks as well as handle parts ordering and shipping, and project scheduling.

Skills and Knowledge

You must be able to communicate effectively over the phone, by email and in person. You must be organized and have the ability to multi-task. This is a non-technical role; however, basic knowledge of technical terms is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

A Support coordinator’s salary range starts at $27,000 to $31,000 based on experience. Benefits include paid vacation, a personal holiday, and sick days
